The comparison covers side, toe, and heel views.
Reebok also made the Freedom female aerobics shoe, which is similar to the Exertion... but no pictures.
In 2000, Reebok has dropped back to basic black and white for both models. However, there have been a rainbow of colors that I've either seen or people have mentioned. Both shoes have been available in:
Some of the additional Freestyle colors include:

The Ex-O-Fit has reinforced sides and a single ankle strap. The ankle collar slants down
steadily from the toe side to the heel side. There is visible stitching along
the toe and the heel.

However, the Freestyle has no side reinforcements and two ankle straps.
Then ankle collar rises slightly towards the heel side. There is no visible
stitching on along the toe and the heel.

The Classic Exertion has no side reinforcements and a single ankle strap. The ankle collar slants down from the toe side to the heel side. There is visible stitching along
the toe, but there is no visible stitching along the heel.
