XC
An abbreviation sometimes seen for cross-country running.
 
Xerox
The original inventor of copying machines, named from the Greek "xerography" (dry writing). The phrase "the highest technology they use is the Xerox®" is sometimes used among participants in the sneaker industry to disparage rivals.
