Memories - adidas Tobacco

I remember that one of our engineering cooperative students had a pair of these sneakers right after I started to work at Boeing in Wichita, Kansas in 1977. Now, adidas has reissued them from time to time in various colors and limited editions.
 

The term "Tobacco" is (nominally) for the color; the shoes are made of leather, not burnable burley. However, adidas has also made them other colors:

• Black
• Brown
  • Coffee
  • Tobacco
• Maroon
• Orange
• Blue
• Green ("bottle green" in the words of the person who told me about these)
